Capital Improvement

Over the past four years, we have completed major upgrades to the Town House and Grange Hall. These improvements have given us an expanded, secure, environmentally proper facility to display our ever increasing collections. Major funding has come from the town of Campton and matching grants from the New Hampshire Land and community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Program.

Operating expenses are funded primarily from memberships. Annual dues are $20 for families, and $12 for individuals, and get you on the mailing list for programs and newsletters. The dues year runs from October 1 to September 30. We have also greatly expanded our product offerings to help defray these expenses. Included are several items featuring the work of noted artist and naturalist F. Schuyler Mathews. These may all be purchased by mail by sending your check made out to Campton Historical Society to the address below under Further Information. To preview these products, CLICK HERE. Add $2 per order for shipping and handling, and include a phone number or e-mail address for contact.
